Anti-static/ConductiveFunction
Eliminate static electricity and prevent electrostatic discharge. Add conductive fillers. Carbon black, graphene, nano-silver powder, anti-static masterbatch. Form a "conductive network" inside the material to allow safe dissipation of electric charges.
It is widely used in packaging turnover boxes and pallets for electronic components and integrated circuits, as well as anti-static floors and partitions in computer rooms and precision instrument rooms.
Flame-retardantFunction
Delay combustion and suppress flame spread. Add flame retardants. Aluminum hydroxide, phosphorus-nitrogen flame retardants, brominated flame retardants. Equip the material with a "fire-resistant barrier" that forms a heat-insulating and oxygen-isolating shield when exposed to fire.
It is commonly used in interior partitions of buildings with fire protection requirements, advertising display boards, packaging boxes for transporting flammable goods, and other applications.
ReinforcementFunction
Improve strength and rigidity. Add reinforcing fibers. Glass fiber, continuous fiber bundles, carbon fiber. Implant "steel bars" into the plastic to create a rigid skeleton.
It is mainly used in occasions requiring high load-bearing capacity and impact resistance, such as heavy-duty logistics turnover, construction site lining boards, and automotive interior backing boards.
In the future, with the development of new materials (such as graphene and nanomaterials) and new processes, hollow sheets will become more powerful and multifunctional. For instance, sheets that combine anti-static and flame-retardant properties, or integrate reinforcement and conductivity into one, will be able to meet the increasingly stringent demands of high-end fields such as aerospace and new energy.
