Common Specifications/Ranges |
Explain |
| Thickness | 2 mm - 12 mm |
The most commonly used thickness range is 2–8 mm, and some manufacturers can supply thicker sheets (e.g., 10–12 mm). A corporate standard specifies a range of 2.0–6.0 mm. |
| Width | ≤ 2300 mm |
The maximum width provided by most suppliers ranges from 2100 mm to 2300 mm. |
| Length | Customizable | The length is usually customized according to customer requirements. |
| Grammage |
Depending on the thickness |
The grammage (g/m²) increases with the increase in thickness. For example, the grammage of a 2 mm sheet is approximately 400–450 g/m², while that of a 6 mm sheet is around 1100 g/m². |
How to Select Hollow Sheets According to Requirements
1.Classification by Function: PP hollow sheets are generally divided into regular type, antistatic type, electrostatic-dissipative type, and conductive type. Their surface resistance is controlled to meet the requirements of different packaging scenarios such as electronics and precision instruments.
2.Classification by Special Properties: Both materials can be enhanced with flame retardant or UV-resistant properties by adding masterbatches, making them suitable for applications with fire protection or outdoor weather resistance requirements.
