Complex process control
Parameters such as temperature and speed must be precisely matched. Improper control may easily lead to problems such as uneven sheet thickness, uneven surface, bubbles or cracks.
High equipment requirements
In one-step production, the screw extrusion output must be precisely matched with the die discharge rate; otherwise, it will affect powder dispersion and production output. The process is highly dependent on equipment accuracy and stability.
Inherent Material Limitations
PP/PE materials have limited rigidity and heat resistance, and exhibit significant thermal expansion and contraction during production. This impairs dimensional stability and imposes compensation requirements on the production process.
Difficult Quality Control
The problem of inadequate ex-factory inspection is prevalent in the industry. Quality control of parameters such as thickness and color relies heavily on high-standard equipment and quality control systems.
The advantages of hollow sheets, such as light weight and environmental friendliness, have led to their wide application; however, their production process does present certain technical barriers.
