6 Simple Working Steps
- Raw Material Drying & Feeding PET pellets or recycled flakes must be dried first. Moisture will damage sheet quality. Dry material feeds into the extruder automatically.
- Melting & Plasticizing The screw rotates inside the heated barrel. It melts and mixes PET into smooth, even melt.
- Filtering & T-die Forming Melt passes through screen changer to remove dirt. Then it flows into flat T-die, turning round melt into wide thin plastic curtain.
- Three-Roll Calendering & Cooling The hot sheet goes into three polishing rollers. Rollers control thickness, flatten and cool the sheet quickly. This decides surface quality.
- Edge Trimming & Thickness Inspection Cut off uneven sheet edges. Online gauge checks thickness to keep consistent.
- Winding or Cutting & Stacking Finished sheet can be rolled up by winder, or cut into flat sheets for stacking.
